The new features in 7.0 include:

•   Improved Notification system

o    New top-level view showing number and severity of events for each subscribed feed 

o    Better badge number support

o    Notification payload indicates which feed triggered notification 

•   Share Mobile Admin

o    Share the details of any page in Mobile Admin with team members directly from device

o    Submit feedback or bugs to Rove directly from device

•   Better device integration

o    Caching Active Directory login on devices is back as a server-side configuration     option (tentative)

o    Better data compression (tentative)

o    Create a calendar entry on your device from any date field 

o    Place a  phone call from your device from any phone number field

o    Open the browser on your device from any URL field

o    Send an email form your device from any email field

A PERSONAL MONITORING SOLUTION

Rove Mobile Admin 6.0 broke new ground by offering IT pros the ability to configure and securely receive personal alerts from a group of popular monitoring and service management systems.

Mobile Admin 6.1 gives you even more control with an easy-to-set-up monitor you can use on ANY windows machine discoverable by the Mobile Admin server. You can set up thresholds for windows performance metrics like memory, local disk usage and CPU. If a threshold is crossed, we’ll send an alert directly to your device. We’re also offering a ping health check monitor you can use to watch anything with an IP address, such as non-windows servers, firewalls, routers, switches, and more.

And you can also directly monitor your Symantec Backup Exec status. If something goes wrong, you’ll get an alert immediately.

Rove Mobile Admin 6.1 introduces purpose-built client software for the iPad platform.
